The Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation can provide education on strategic grantmaking to assist donors in making an impact with their gifts. Donors are often interested in doing more than writing a check and want to understand how to evaluate a potential gift to a nonprofit organization as well as follow how that investment is spent. The Foundation provides support with:
• Creation of philanthropic plans to guide donors in their giving.
• Expertise on effective grantmaking strategies including identifying and placing grantmaking values in priority order,
redefining a donor's focus, evaluating nonprofit effectiveness, etc.
• Grant monitoring and evaluation.
