What is the Women's Fund Advisory Committee?

Our Mission
To improve and impact the quality of life for all people by enriching the lives of women and girls in the Fargo-Moorhead area communities.

Our Vision
Under the umbrella of the F-M Area Foundation, the Women's Fund will develop an endowed fund to benefit women and girls, and speaking with a trusted, strong and recognizable voice, will make a discernible impact on the Fargo-Moorhead Community.

Our Guiding Principles
The Women’s Fund supports and funds efforts that positively impact the status of women and girls by:

  • focusing on prevention and systemic change that responds to our community’s needs as determined by research.
  • building capacity and maximizing the potential of women and girls to exercise self determination; excel in leadership, decision making, and philanthropy.
  • creating a community which honors the value, worth, and dignity of all people by encouraging innovative, unique, and collaborative approaches in a fiscally responsible and measurable manner.
