More than 30 scholarship funds have been established at the Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation. The Foundation awards more than $100,000 annually in scholarships to deserving students. This money supports students that attend a variety of post-secondary educational programs. Mrs. Bond created the Kathryn P. Bond Charitable Fund which provides the Kathryn P. Bond Scholarship to assist graduate students in continuing their education in the areas of medicine, social services and /or political sciences.
This multi year scholarship is awarded to advance the pursuits of qualified students who are interested in coming back to or staying in North Dakota after receiving their higher education.
