Speakers Bureau

Since 1960, the Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation has worked with organizations and donors throughout our community.  As your center for community philanthropy, the Foundation strives to be a knowledgeable resource; helping enrich and strengthen our community.

Drawing on this experience, a member of our team can deliver presentations free of charge at your request.  Whether you are a charitable organization interested in partnerships, an agency exploring funding opportunities, or a company or group looking for ways to give back to the community, the Foundation will deliver a speaker that will be able to provide you with valuable information and inspiration.

Topics include:

1.  Philanthropy 101: The Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation--What we do and why.

2.  How to Grow YOUR Community Foundation--Let's count the ways.

3.  Individual Retirement Accounts--Act now before this new charitable window slams shut.

4.  Grants & Giving: The Role of the Community Foundation.

5.  The Women's Fund--What is it and what does it mean for Fargo-Moorhead.

Presentation topics can cover the history of the Foundation, Grantmaking and Community Partnerships, Individual or Organizational Endowment Funds and Family Philanthropy to name a few.  Presentations can be tailored to meet the needs of your audience.
