Beginning this year, the Foundation's Giving Guide will be published separate from the Community Grant Round.
The focus of the Giving Guide is to inform the Foundation donors and potential donors about the needs and services of the nonprofit organizations of Cass and Clay Counties. The Giving Guide is a useful fundraising tool for nonprofit organizations and an informational tool for Foundation donors.
The Foundation's Giving Guide will now be sent to our donors in February, along with their annual fund statements.
Only ongoing program descriptions, not general operations or projects, will be included in the Giving Guide, which will be published every other year. There will be an additional section for any capital projects; however, an organization can be listed only once within the publication.
A simple e-mail form is available to submit your program information. To receive the Giving Guide Submission Form, or the Capital Submission Form, please contact Cher Hersrud at cher@areafoundation.org or 701.234.0756. The deadline for submission for the 2009-2010 Giving Guide has passed. Thank you to the area nonprofits that submitted their program information.
The Giving Guide is a wonderful collection of charitable insight that allows you an inside look at the programs of many local nonprofit organizations. Inspired by the hope of increasing the available resources required to support critical programs throughout Cass and Clay counties, the Foundation published its first Giving Guide in 2004 with the help of individuals, organizations and businesses like you.
The Giving Guide is a reflection of the Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation’s commitment to serve as a catalyst in identifying and addressing community needs for all residents in Cass and Clay County.
