Since 1960, FMAF has awarded more than $17.5 million in grants, connecting resources with opportunities. Grants are available to nonprofit organizations and public entities primarily serving residents of Cass County, North Dakota and Clay County, Minnesota.
Grantmaking by Designated Funds
Some funds are designated to support a specific organization or a field of interest. Applications are not accepted for these funds.
Grantmaking by Advised Funds
FMAF donors contributed more than a million dollars to nonprofit organizations last year. Donors interested in recommending a grant may contact the Foundation at any time. Grant seekers may submit requests through the competitive process.
