The Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation supports donors with their philanthropic goals by working directly with them and, if appropriate, their family to make giving both easier and more effective while helping to find joy in giving.
The Foundation works with individuals, families, and professional advisors to engage and educate them about the issues affecting our community and how to make an impact with their giving. The Foundation's staff provides adminstrative support and fiscal stewardship, encourage innovative thinking, and share community knowledge.
By creating a fund with the Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation, donors receive the flexibility and involvement of a private foundation along with the tax advantages and simplicity of a community foundation. Donors can choose to give now through an assortment of charitable funds offered by the Foundation. Or donors can choose to give later through a variety of planned giving options.
Establishing your own named charitable fund does not require great wealth and it isn't complicated. Plus,
