- Intro to Twitter for Nonprofit Professionals
Organization:Next Action Digital Date: May. 2, 2018 Time: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM Location:FM Area Foundation, Community Room, 409 7th St. S, Fargo, ND 58103
Designed for Nonprofit Professionals who are new to Twitter or don’t use it much (yet!)
In the Intro to Twitter workshop, we’ll help you imagine the many ways you can use Twitter as a nonprofit professional – from connecting with donors to lifting up volunteers.
The class includes Twitter orientation so that you’re comfortable with Twitter. Our goal? You should be able to go from idea to tweet in a minute or two. After all, if it takes any longer than that, you’re likely to give up on the post.
By the end of the class, you’ll have Twitter terminology down and will have sent a few tweets.

Not sure what to tweet? Or tweeting and feeling like you get … crickets? Start tweeting with purpose and in a voice that sounds like YOU. We’ll illustrate how you can share content from your organization by adding your own voice. We’ll also provide prompts that will help you recognize the moments that tell your story or share your expertise. Most importantly, we’ll cover the basics of starting real conversations on Twitter. After all, mentions = love.
